Garden Tours and Pick Your Own

So lovely to welcome visitors to the garden and explain how it has transformed during the season.  The dahlias are always looking fabulous in September.  I need to thank my wonderful neighbours who have once again allowed me to use a good half of their orchard to grow these late season focals which I would be lost without.  These were also enjoyed by visitors at the “last hurrah” or  “PYO” days in mid October.  The informal competition was “How many dahlias can you fit in a florist's bucket?”

Farewell flowers: In the last couple of months,  I’ve had the honour to create several colourful, seasonal floral tributes using the flowers that I’ve put my heart and soul into growing.  As with all my work, I don’t use floral foam or plastic in the arrangements and am always working towards being as eco-friendly as possible.

Talks and Demonstrations: I love to have the opportunity to spread the word about how and why buying flowers locally and seasonally is good for the planet and I did just that at two different community groups in different parts of Gloucestershire at the end of November.

Hot news : as mentioned briefly already, my brain is officially frazzled after setting up my very own e-commerce shop to sell dried flower products and order subscription flowers online (local deliveries only).
