Looking ahead…

The website is now up to date with 2022 flower workshops, cut flower growing workshops for beginners/novices, subscription flower details  and garden tour dates.   These can all be booked on line as Gift vouchers (which I can post) to any value, redeemable on any product or workshop.  Experiences such as CCF workshops making a lovely Christmas gift for a loved one. I’m really looking forward to the fourth intake of the Seed to Vase course which I run over of 6 morning sessions at CCF starting in February.   It’s wonderful to meet, talk and learn with a like minded group, get muddy and take lots of freebies home every week.  

Five reasons experience gifts can be better than “Things”

I’ve given a few hints for present ideas here; Don’t get me wrong, it is lovely to have a physical present to open on Christmas day or for a birthday, but I for one have too much “stuff”. There are also lots of reasons why the gift of a special experience is equally good if not better and will definitely be on my Christmas list:

1. They have been shown to provide more lasting happiness than material possessions

2. Gift experiences give something to look forward to

3. Experiences are an opportunity to connect with other like minded-people

4. They create memories which last longer than a product

5. Gift experiences can be an eco-friendly, sustainable alternative to  a product 

6 Gift experiences provide an opportunity to learn something new

On that note, I’m so looking forward to a more normal Christmas this year; seeing friends and family , taking some time out with plenty of drinking, eating and merriment.
